Oktoberfest at DANK-HAUS! - Saturday, Sept. 26th!
Come to Chicagoland's best Oktoberfest at the Historic DANK-HAUS!

Plenty of food, drink, and gemütlichkeit will make the evening a memorable one. The music will be plentiful with THE PALOMA BAND performing a mix of German and American favorites and the inimitable POLKAHOLICS® with their unique and entertaining guitar-driven polka.

In the 5th Floor Marunde Ballroom at DANK-HAUS. Parking available in the Corus Bank parking lot one block north. Admission is only $10!. Doors at 7pm!

It’s Oktoberfest at Sheffield's in Wrigleyville!
Sheffield’s will celebrate the beloved German fall holiday, Oktoberfest, with live entertainment from Chicago’s own polka and rock-infused band, The Polkaholics.

The annual fete keeps with the German tradition with a sampling from Sheffield’s extensive beer list including $5 Bell's and $4 Great Lakes Oktoberfest on tap, as well as specialty bottles like Spaten, Paulaner, Harpoon & Flying Dog.

Food includes smoked brats with sauerkraut and soft pretzels with spicy mustard.

We wear short shorts! Grad yer 'hosen!

It's that time of year again- OKTOBERFEST! Yes that's right kids, stop yer posin' and grab yer 'hosen 'cause The Polkaholics® have not one but TWO events on the same day!

Celebrate German culture and enjoy brats, beer and brass bands in a lively setting. Visit the Chamber booth for refreshments and snacks. See THE POLKAHOLICS® perform on a moving float! Who knows what in the hell will happen!?!

We’re back at this super outdoor summer fest in beautiful Rogers Park.  We’ll be playing between two great bands: Skapone and M.O.T.O – this is one SUPER line-up!  Simply, put, this is a fest you just can’t resist!!

We will be LIVE on the radio TONIGHT during the "Radio One:Chicago" program on WLUW!!  Listen in as we get interviewed and play 5-6 selections from our Wally polka-rock opera!

Friday July 31
“FREE Morning Polka Party at Quenchers!”  7-9am live remote broadcast on WGN-TV!!  (2401 N. Western, at Fullerton, 773 276-9730) Starting bright and early at 7am, WGN will be broadcasting live from Quenchers Saloon as we play songs from Wally and more!  And yes, the bar will be open for business (or pleasure!).  All in all, there will be about 6-8 segments that they will televise from Quenchers, so you have an excellent chance of getting your beautiful mug on the morning news show!  Please come and show Chicago what polka power is all about!

4:55pm - WXRT 93.1FM  will play our song "Caldwell Woods" from Wally!

THE BIG EVENT!!!!!  Saturday August 1 - Quenchers 9pm, $5 
Our WALLY CD release party on Li’l Wally’s birthday (he would have been 79 on this date).  Opening the party will be cabaret polkateers from Brooklyn, Polkafinger. Following Polkafinger, we'll play the 12 songs of Wally in its entirety and then play another set of people-pleasing polka!  CDs and special t-shirts commemorating the event will be on sale if you want to take some Wally home with you!
